Daria Mason is a Los Angeles-based independent designer who’s been designing clothing informally for about 14 years. Daria learned how to sew as a freshman in high school where she took her first fashion class and from back then, she knew that she wanted to pursue a career in fashion. Daria went on to take more classes throughout high school and studied fashion merchandising and design at Cal State Long Beach. In her senior year of high school, she applied to be on Project Runway Junior and made it to the semifinals of the show casting. Throughout college, she took part in several fashion shows, designed for three music videos, began to design custom pieces for private clients and interned under Project Runway finalist, Candice Cuoco.
Daria currently works as a fashion teacher at The Unincorporated Life and as a substitute teacher. She is also continuing to build her brand and develop a client base.
