Tomi Randall is a creator of many forms — style, tailoring, costume design, and fashion design — whose work lives at the intersection of intention, instinct, and individuality. Tomi’s story has always been rooted in choosing the road less traveled — in crafting authentic, unique, unconventional worlds that actively resist the groupthink mentality. Through her creative lens, she aims to provoke thought in ways that a diverse audience can digest, feel, and relate to.
Tomi is not only a digital creator — she is an artist in the physical sense of the word. Her hands, her mind, and her experiences shape tangible pieces that reflect the times we live in. Whether through her artwork or her clothing imprint, ‘Controversy, by R.E.V, she tells stories that shed light on the “not-so-average” creator, the overlooked visionary, the person whose essence isn’t loud by force, but by nature.
Tomi’s brand and her art operate as mirrors, absorbing and refracting culture while staying grounded in truth. Over the years, she’s had the privilege of working alongside globally recognized artists, building campaigns, and contributing to visual landscapes that resonate beyond trends. One in particular conceptualized, developed, curated, produced, and hosted a panel of the most exclusive showrooms in Los Angeles and the owners behind them to not only shed light on small and local businesses, but also bridge the gap between the average consumer and sustainability practices like renting clothes.
Tomi was staffed as a celebrity tailor for the cover of Teen Vogue Magazine for Keke Palmer, and as well for Usher for this past Super Bowl halftime show and again for Sergio Hudson’s NYFW A/W2026/27 runway show where she took her audience behind the scenes of the mayhem of the ins and outs of production and the fashion world.
These experiences have sharpened Tomi’s creative voice and solidified her place in the broader artistic dialogue.
At her core, she creates to shift perspectives — to spark new conversations in both fashion and sustainability, and stretch the boundaries of what is seen, felt, and understood. And she is destined for her essence to be absorbed by an even wider audience.
