Ellen Edwards started JewelsByElan in Manhattan. She studied fashion buying and merchandising at the Fashion Institute of Technology and later started designing jewelry and accessories for bold and stylish women and men. Ellen has had three retail locations in Manhattan and one in Westchester County, New York before moving to Raleigh, North Carolina in 2016.
