Erica Ash is an award-winning stage, film and television actress, most known for her standout leading roles as ‘Maya’ in Lionsgate’s Uncle Drew and ‘M-Chuck Calloway’ in the Starz comedy Survivor’s Remorse for which she received a Best Supporting Actress NAACP Image Award nomination. Her highly anticipated film, We Have A Ghost, also starring David Harbour, Anthony Mackie and Jennifer Coolidge was #1 on Netflix and her film Unthinkably Good Things (Hallmark) won the Gracie Award for best TV movie in 2023. In addition, the comedy western The Outlaw Johnny Black in which Ash stars opposite Michael Jai White and Anika Noni Rose will be released in theaters only September 2023.

Ash has helmed BET’s legal drama In Contempt as Gwen Sullivan, recurred on HBO’s A Black Lady Sketch Show, Netflix’s Family Reunion, Kevin Hart’s hit series The Real Husbands of Hollywood and the CW’s Legacies. She starred opposite Olivia Munn in Justine Bateman’s film Violet. And currently stars opposite Paula Patton in the BET+ series Sacrifice (season 2 to be released this year).

Ash’s entertainment path began on stage with Broadway productions including, Lion King starring as ‘Nala’, Spamalot starring as ‘Lady of the Lake’ and the original Broadway cast of Baby It’s You as Addie “Micki” Harris and Dionne Warwick for which she won an NAACP Theater Award for Best Supporting Actress.
